Brunsbüttel is not necessarily known as a tourist location, but rather as an industrial location, e.g. for the chemical industry. But the reality is different: At the intersection of four international cycling routes, with its proximity to the water and the harbour, shopping street, cafes and restaurants, Brunsbüttel has a lot to offer in terms of tourism. Hans Helmut Schramm is someone who knows this very well. Brunsbüttel is his home, and he has deep ties to the region. Through his numerous companies, he has been providing jobs contributing to an upswing in the region for years. He realized that many of his business partners coming from farther afield did not spend the night in Brunsbüttel, and that no conferences and larger events were held there. For the simple reason that no corresponding offer existed. 

To meet the demands of both business travellers and tourists, he and his wife, Pia, designed a hotel. Both the hotel concept as well as the associated marketing is tailored precisely to the location and the existing demand. The ultra-modern 4-star loft-style building complex focuses on business customers from Monday to Friday and on tourists at the weekend. A wide range of options for holding events in the hotel rounds off its range. The hotel's design is particularly important to Pia Schramm: “The design and the interior architecture are particularly important to me. The hotel should be a place where guests and locals can meet, and a lively exchange can take place. The open design of the lobby, bar and restaurant reflects this communication concept." 

Hans Helmut Schramm has big plans for the hotel: Promote the location's tourist development and give Brunsbüttel a new face. Hans Helmut Schramm says: “I want Brunsbüttel to become louder. We have so much to offer and hopefully, the hotel will be the key to boosting the entire region and its development. I want to forge ahead through my commitment."
